Florida reports 1,902 new coronavirus cases, biggest daily increase as total nears 71k

Florida added another 1,902 coronavirus cases Friday, the biggest increase yet in daily reported infections, as the state’s case load approaches 71,000. The state health department also reported 29 new deaths for a total of 2,877 fatalities.
