Footage: DeLand man accused of killing grandfather offered deputies severed ears, lunged for their weapons

A DeLand man accused of stabbing his grandfather to death and cutting off his ears last week offered deputies the severed ears and asked for deputies’ weapons before fighting with the officers, newly released records show.
