Dog thrown from Daytona Beach motel balcony to be adopted, officials say

The year-old German Shepherd puppy that survived being thrown from the balcony of a Daytona Beach motel by her first owner last year is one step closer to finding her forever home, according to a Volusia County spokesperson.
