Lake Correctional officer killed inmate by ‘blunt force trauma,' indictment says

The former corrections officer facing a second-degree murder charge in the June death of a Lake Correctional Institution inmate is accused of killing the man by “blunt force trauma” to his head or neck area, court records show.
